Josh Blumenfeld

Joshua Blumenfeld is the Managing Director of Global Policy and Advocacy, and Chief Legal Officer of  Malaria No More, where he leads a Washington, D.C. based team in engaging with governments, multilateral institutions, as well as public and private partners to advance malaria elimination. Previously, Josh served in the Obama Administration, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Senate Affairs, where he advised Secretaries Clinton and Kerry, as well as senior department leadership on advancing the administration’s foreign policy, national security, and development priorities in Congress. While at the State Department, Josh also served as the Acting Director of the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review. Prior to joining the Obama administration, Josh worked in the United States Senate as Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to Senator Chris Dodd. He also served as the Staff Director of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, and as Director of the U.S. Senate India Caucus. Josh holds a JD from Georgetown Law, an MA from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Rochester.
