Fellowships in D.C. Thinking about moving to Washington D.C. after graduation, but nervous about finding a job? Washington D.C. is home to a variety of fellowships that are eager to have passionate college graduates working on important projects. Applying to D.C. fellowships is not like OCR. Think tanks, law firms, and other research centers are currently receiving applications for these positions. Fellowships typically range from six months to two years and offer competitive compensation. As a fellow, you will be working with leading professionals to perform important research and provide additional assistance on matters affecting the country. Fellowships are a great opportunity to gain experience before pursuing a law or master’s degree. For rising seniors already thinking about graduation, it is never too early to start researching and thinking about potential fellowship opportunities. The most competitive positions will soon be accepting applications for 2021.  The Penn in Washington program has begun compiling a database of past and upcoming deadlines for students to learn more about fellowship opportunities.
